Both, the pistol and also cartridge was first adopted in 1904. The PM9 cartridge was introduced to the market along with the Luger semi-automatic pistol. The result of the trigger design is that it cannot cock the striker on its own, however it is functionally much more like a single-action trigger. Like the other models mentioned before, the Kahr triggers utilize a slide-assisted cocking action that removes much of its weight and length of the trigger pull. ![]() Truly double-action only triggers are designed to completely cock and fire a pistol, allowing a re-fire operation on a miss-fired round without racking the slide.
